Do you deliver and set up the cakes?
Yes I do. Delivery and set up for wedding cakes within a 20 mile radius of Norwich is £40.00. Venues further afield will need to be quoted according to distance. Celebration cakes and cupcake orders are to be collected from Sugar Buttons in Norwich NR3. Your cake will be provided in a box suitable for transporting. Sometimes loose parts and toppers will be packaged separately to avoid damage while in transit.
Do you have cake stands to hire?
We have a range of different cake stands and cupcake towers for you to choose from. Stand hire is charged at £15.00 with a breakage deposit of £50.00 which is fully refundable once the stand is returned to us in the same condition as it was provided. Click here to see the range of stands.
How do I order?
If you’re interested in ordering a Sugar Buttons cake or cupcakes all you need to do is send me an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org E-mail is the best way to contact me as I can’t answer the phone whilst up to my eyes in icing! I work long hours so can’t always respond on the same day but I aim to answer enquiries within 3 days.
How much notice do you need?
8-12 weeks’ notice is ideal for wedding cakes although the more time the better. Celebration cakes require a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice in order to allow time for design and planning. However if you do require a cake at short notice, please contact me as I will endeavour to accommodate you.
Can you work to a budget?
I am known for my wow factor cakes with lots of detail. They are very labour intensive and I pride myself on the level of perfection I achieve. Some cakes take several days to complete particularly those with intricate modelling or hand painted details. For this reason, my cakes are not cheap. I can sometimes alter a design to fit a budget but there is a limit as I do not want to compromise the quality of my work. I do not hike up the prices of wedding cakes but they do work out more expensive as a lot more work goes into the planning and consultation process.
How do I pay?
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for all cake and cupcake orders, with the final balance payable 2 weeks’ before the collection/delivery. Payment can be made through bank transfer, Paypal or cash. Payments by Paypal will incur a small admin charge to cover costs.
What if I need to cancel?
Deposits are non-refundable however if you inform us of your cancellation 30 days before the delivery date, you will receive 25% of the deposit back.

Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes we do! You can purchase gift vouchers in our shop which can be used towards a class, party or cake order. Gift vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Vouchers can be posted or emailed to you or directly to your recipient.
Please note that in extreme weather conditions, such as heavy snow or flooding we may not be able to reach your venue or consider it too dangerous to deliver. We cannot be held liable for non delivery in these circumstances, and recommend you take out wedding insurance to cover such an eventuality.
